The recently released CD entitled “When the Lights Go Down” by their own indie label, TbN AUDiO, LLC. A group of guys known as Promiselab shows promise not only from their skill to manage their own company from their basement, but from their spectacular creative music.

The artist spotlight this week is a creative band from New York City. The Radiant is the perfect example that anyone can make great music from little to no resources.
Without a record company to back them, with no studio, and only a MAC computer to their arsenal , Christian Yorke, Mark Mangold, and Jordan Brooks, recorded from their living rooms to create most of their incredible music. If you like Keane, Coldplay, or The Fray, you will love The Radiant.

Mammút is an Icelandic band and the featured artist of the week. While many listeners outside of Iceland may not understand a single lyric, make no mistake, they do speak the universal language of awesome rock music. They have a distinct Icelandic sound, but are similar to the Iceland band, The Sugarcubes and Bjork with an alternative rock kick to their sound.

Episode XVIII. This weeks artist spotlight is a local talent from Chino Hills and Inglewood, CA native, Madd Doc aka The D.O.C. "On Call" mixtape was recorded back in 2008, but was not released until July 2009 due to his involvement in live "Twin Towers" performances and work on other music projects with 92 Fam, The District.
This is the true essense of hip-hop. Just when you think Hip-Hop died back in the 90s following the death of hip hop legends, Biggie and Topac with no chance of resurrection. with good lyrics and good ol'fashion hard hittin beats that make you want to grove and invest in a good hard hit'n system for your ride (Car drive by wit a boomin' system). This Progressive Tribal House Tech DJ is a former native of Milwaukee, WI. He?s performed in the underground scene in Chicago, and in clubs in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. He really made a name for himself for the club scene in San Francisco, performing in Bay Area clubs like Ten15 Folsom, Fuse, Vertigo Bar, Hush Hush, Snow Drift, Azul, Element Lounge, Suede, Mighty, Shadow Lounge, EZ5, Naked Fish, Club 6ix, Nickies, Roe/Prive, and varies other underground parties.
He recently moved to New York City, so be on the look out for performances by DJ Dru West in the flesh in the big apple.

This weeks artist spotlight is with a rock band from Jacksonville, FL. I briefly spoke to the band due to their hectic schedules with the current CD release, recording time, and concerts it's been a tough time getting them to speak to me. They did give me a brief bio and the new songs before it was even released to the public, so that was awesome!
They released their first EP in 2007 and have produced six EP's including the newest EP "The Tides that Bind" which was released on June 2, 2009.
